Brow Henna – What is it and why do I want to add it to my services?
Most people when they hear the word Henna they think of those gorgeous henna hand tattoos, a paste that’s applied to the skin in a design, which then dries and then leaves a stain on the skin.
The concept for henna brows is somewhat the same. It has been used for thousands of years for staining skin and hair. Using henna on the brows creates a long lasting tint on the hair for up to 6 weeks and a stain on the skin for 1 to 2 weeks, which gives the effect of 3d brow tattoo.
This is a treatment that is quickly surpassing standard brow tinting due to it being a natural based formulation that doesn’t contain ammonia or hydrogen peroxide, a great alternative for those clients that can react to standard tints. And who wouldn’t want a tint that lasts this long and is free of dangerous chemicals?!
Choosing to add Brow Henna to your service menu is also ideal if you are working with clients on reconstructing their brows, the stain can fill in any gaps that your client can then visually see where they need to leave hair alone. It’s also a great add on to Lash Services increasing your profit by nearly $100 if you do good work!
